It is with great excitement that we invite you to attend the 2021 Chamber Retreat - 50th Anniversary Edition! This year's retreat will be held at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, where we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in style!
At the 2020 Chamber Retreat we worked to "Inspire the Future". This year's theme "Golden Past, Platinum Future", will not only have us reflecting on the past 50 years but looking ahead as we move towards our platinum future.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW The 2021 Retreat Program will highlight not only key accomplishments from our past, but also the endeavors that are currently building Sumter?s foundation for an exciting future!
The year 2020 has been a tough one, but we are #SumterStrong and we felt the Chamber Retreat?s 50th Anniversary would be the perfect opportunity to remind the Sumter community how much we have accomplished and provide a preview of what?s to come. We have invited guest speakers from communities similar to Sumter that faced challenges and implemented key initiatives that have transformed their communities into the thriving cities they are today. Some of these initiatives have already inspired the endeavors currently taking place in Sumter.
The weekend will also feature fun activities, including live entertainment, that you don't want to miss! Last year we had a masquerade themed banquet. This year's banquet will be all about our theme "Golden Past, Platinum Future", so come dressed to impress wearing Black, Gold, and/or Platinum attire in honor of our 50th Anniversary!
