State of Economy presented by Duke Energy
Keynote Speaker: Catherine Cantey with Cantey Advisors will examine your company's opportunities and risks in the evolving business cycle. Attendees will hear the outlook for major sectors of the economy and will learn how to keep their business ready for expansion while protecting against recession. Business leaders will walk away knowing how the economy will impact their companies--and how to develop plans that will be resilient in any situation.
SC Chamber Grassroots: Join Bob Morgan with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for an interactive dialogue about the current state of our business economy and the opportunities to effect change moving forward. Attendees will be able to participate anonymously by responding to questions via a clicker and the audience will be able to view in real-time the aggregate responses. Your input will help determine the SC Chamber's Legislative Agenda!
Panel Discussion: As our local business community begins to formulate tactics and strategies to move forward, it is important to know how we are doing and where we are going as a community. To shed a light on the well-being of the local economy, the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce has brought together noteworthy leaders from our community to speak to area business representatives during Sumter’s inaugural State of the Economy event. Panelists include: Chal Glenn with Stifel, The Glenn Group, Hennie Van Bulck from USC Sumter, and Major Quinton Croff, Commander of the 20th Comptroller Squadron. This session will be moderated by Erika Williams.
