DESCRIPTION:2021 Chamber Retreat is Cancelled for the safety of the Chamber Family and Sumter Community\n\n\n\nThank you for being a part of the Chamber Family and supporter of the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce and Sumter Community.\n\n \n\nWhile it was a difficult decision\, our team has decided to cancel the 2021 Chamber Retreat which was scheduled for January 29 31\, 2021 because we care about your safety and wellbeing. Rest assured\, we are very excited about celebrating what will still be our 50th Chamber Retreat at the Wild Dunes\, Isle of Palms in January 2022.\n\n \n\nWe will be refunding all paid attendee registrations via check\, which you should receive in the mail by the end of the month. This year's retreat will be held at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms\, where we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in style!\n\n\n\nAt the 2020 Chamber Retreat we worked to "Inspire the Future". This year's theme "Golden Past\, Platinum Future"\, will not only have us reflecting on the past 50 years but looking ahead as we move towards our platinum future. \n\n\n\n\n\nPROGRAM OVERVIEW\n\nThe 2021 Retreat Program will highlight not only key accomplishments from our past\, but also the endeavors that are currently building Sumter?s foundation for an exciting future! \n\n\n\nThe year 2020 has been a tough one\, but we are #SumterStrong and we felt the Chamber Retreat?s 50th Anniversary would be the perfect opportunity to remind the Sumter community how much we have accomplished and provide a preview of what?s to come. We have invited guest speakers from communities similar to Sumter that faced challenges and implemented key initiatives that have transformed their communities into the thriving cities they are today. Some of these initiatives have already inspired the endeavors currently taking place in Sumter. \n\n\n\nThe weekend will also feature fun activities\, including live entertainment\, that you don't want to miss! Last year we had a masquerade themed banquet. This year's banquet will be all about our theme "Golden Past\, Platinum Future"\, so come dressed to impress wearing Black\, Gold\, and/or Platinum attire in honor of our 50th Anniversary! \n\n\n\nBe sure to check our event page for the latest updates and new information about the 2021 Chamber Retreat.\n\n\n\nRETREAT EXTRA's\n\n\n\nSaturday\, 2021 Retreat Golf Tournament\n\n\n\nWild Dunes is ranked among the "Best in State" for golf in South Carolina. Designed by Tom Fazio\, the Harbor Golf Course is known for its challenging design and beautiful views\, and most of all\, water.
